Cuervo del Sol is a shop curating tested, working vintage camcorders for filmmakers, collectors, and anyone drawn to the texture of analog video.

Every camera in our catalog is hand-tested against an 8-point functionality checklist — zoom, autofocus, LCD, viewfinder, microphone, AV output, battery system, and charger — before it ever appears here. We document what works and what doesn't, so what you see is what you receive.

We ship from Japan, where most of these cameras were originally made.

How we test

Each unit goes through a standardized check before it's listed. Functionality notes appear on every product page so you know exactly what condition tier the camera falls into: Working / Mint / As-is / Junk.
